Knuckling down and getting the job done.
Senior Systems Engineer Jacque Bois provides top notch service and support to our clients by “making every client feel like they are my only client.” Jacque believes that because he and his team pursue excellence in every aspect of their work, it reflects positively on the end result: great client service. And he feels that working with a great team like ICS Support that is always fully supportive when potential problems arise is one of the contributing factors to being able to perform well. “Our team simply knuckles down and gets it done!”
The Job Side
Jacque was a trainee officer (Marine Cadet) in the Merchant Navy in South Africa, while studying to become a Marine Engineer. He switched to Information Technology in 1989 when his son was born so that he could spend more time at home. His technical expertise includes being an SCO Unix Ace+ and working in a broad range of Unix and also Windows environments over the past nineteen years. He also did SCO Unix Training and support for one of the largest software and hardware distributors in Africa before coming to America. After joining the ICS Support team, Jacque achieved an MCSE from Microsoft.
The Personal Side
Jacque spends as much quality time with his family as work allows and is proud of his role as husband and father. He has been doing martial arts since age four and owned a Chinese Martial Arts school in South Africa before coming to America, he has traveled frequently to China and Hong Kong for martial arts training. His son is also an accomplished martial artist holding, among others, a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do as well as gold, silver and bronze medals in Washington State Tae Kwon Do Competition.

“I am thinking about expanding my professional repertoire to include programming skills. I am a simple soul who prefers to avoid the Chinese curse of ‘living in interesting times’. I prefer to achieve things as harmoniously and quietly as possible. I think an actual deed done is worth much more than a lot of spouting rhetoric about achievement and planning.”
