Sage has made it easy to find the answers to these and many more questions with the introduction of the Knowledgebase in the new Sage Customer Portal.

If you haven't logged on to the new Sage CustomerPortal recently, follow the steps below to verify that you're able to access this resource.

  • Go to http://www.sagecre.com.
  • On the right side of the window, in the Support Logon section, click Sage customer website. (Tip: Save this site as a favorite to make it easier to access in the future.)
  • Enter your e-mail address and password, then click [Log on].
  • If you have forgotten your password or if you get a user authentication error when you try to log on, click the Forgot your password? link. Note: Do not click the Need to Register? link. Click Reset Password. Enter and confirm your e-mail address, then enter your last name and first name. Click [Submit]. A new password will be sent to you.
  • If you are unable to submit the form, contact Customer Support for assistance.

After logging on to the portal, click the Knowledgebase Search link.

Here are examples of numbered Knowledgebase articles you can find under the subject "Payroll":

  • Voiding checks from prior year: KB68023, KB69715
  • Moving terminated employees who have earnings in the current year: KB81941
  • Marking earnings or pays as exempt when earnings should show on W-2s: KB215791, KB130480
  • Taxes calculating for the wrong state: KB115664
  • Taxable benefits are not set up to show on the W-2: KB62146, KB13378
  • Forgetting to enter Third Party Sick Pay (disability pay)
