Easy Update Installation with Sage Installation Manager
Do you have a number of workstations attached to your Sage Timberline Office server? If so, installing software updates can be a time-consuming process. Now, the Sage Installation Manager, included in the summer update to Sage Timberline Office, streamlines this process.
Sage Installation Manager allows you to install software updates to multiple workstations from a single location. For example, working directly from the Sage Installation Manager on your server, you can automatically install updates to all workstations instead of manually installing the update on each workstation - a much more efficient use of your time.
With Sage Installation Manager you also have the ability to perform a variety of other functions directly from the server. You can:
- Download and manage available updates
- View workstation status to determine the software version and whether the workstation is currently active
- Reboot individual workstations, if needed
- Install and monitor the progress of a workstation update
- Access a log that provides an overview of each workstation installation
- Check to see whether an update from Sage is available
