Emerging Buzzword in Construction: What is CRM and What Can It Do For You?
As we interact with our current and prospective Timberline customers, one area of interest we are hearing more and more questions about is CRM. Perhaps you have heard the term and wondered what the acronym stands for. CRM is short for Customer Relationship Management. Briefly, it refers to the process of effectively managing the typical interactions between company employees and your customers (broadly defined as owners, subcontractors, vendors, etc.).

From handling vendor inquiries to checking the status of pending or current jobs, CRM software tools provide a central location for access to data. Sage CRM is now available as an integrated tool for all Timberline user companies, and ICS is now certified to provide sales, implementation and training services for Sage CRM. Two products make up the integrated suite: the Sage CRM core application, and the integration link software.

The integration link software is also provided by ICS through Enabling IP, a Timberline approved Development Partner. The Timberline Sage Integration Link document (PDF) includes more details.
