New Withholding Tax Tables Now Available for Sage MAS 90 and 200 and Extended Enterprise Suite
New Sage MAS 90 and 200, and Extended Enterprise Suite tax tables that comply with the new Federal Stimulus plan are now available for your payroll processing. An additional update for 941 forms is expected to be available by time of publication. The new tax tables incorporate the new Making Work Pay credit, which the IRS has asked employers to start using no later than April 1.
To install the Payroll Tax Table updates:
- Login to Sage Software Online.
- Click the following link: Tax Table Updates.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
The IRS has stated that most employees will see a boost in their take-home pay, and workers will not need to take any action to get the benefit. They will not need to fill out a new W-4 withholding form, and a Form W-4 will not need to be submitted for the automatic withholding change.
