Just Print It !
(A Short Cut for Folks in a Hurry)
You’ve been through the drill before, after data entry in Sales Order, Purchase Order etc… you need to print the document(s). In Sales Order for instance, you can select Print Sales Orders from the Main folder. You have multiple options available to you, including the type of orders, the printer, the form, and even what particular order or range of orders you want to print. Then before you can actually print, you have to hit the SELECT button, or you get nothing.
Worse, maybe your version of MAS closed the print window and you have to start all over again. This can be especially frustrating if you just have one document to print, namely the one you just created or edited. Save yourself some time and keystrokes by using the Quick Print feature. From the data entry window, simply hit the Quick Print button.
If you have already used the form (other than STANDARD), MAS even remembers what form to use, what printer you want it sent to, and how many copies. When the print window appears, just hit PRINT. The document you are entering or reviewing is printed. Done! That’s all there is too it.
This feature is also available for AR Invoices, Sales Order Invoices, Sales Order Picking Sheets, and Purchase Orders.

What if the form you are printing is not as professional looking or as tailored to your business needs as you would like? Since all forms in MAS version 4.x are written in Crystal Reports, you can edit them! If you don’t know Crystal Reports, sign up for one of the classes ICS offers, or we can create the form or report for you if you are short on time and resources.
