Product Update 1 released March 2010 includes:

  • Accounts Receivable Enhanced Invoice History Search – Search invoice history by customer phone number and lot/serial number.
  • Cash Receipts Entry by Invoice Number – Allows the entry of an invoice number in Cash Receipts Entry. When an invoice number has been entered, the customer number of the first matching invoice from the invoice history file will be placed in the customer number field.
  • Job Status Posting Control – Prevent the accidental posting of costs to a closed job. Create a list of allowable job statuses for Purchase Order, Accounts Payable, Job Cost, Inventory and Payroll. A Job Number whose status does not appear on this list cannot be entered.
  • Automatic Earning Code Maintenance By Employee – The concept of ‘Automatic Earnings Codes' (similar to Voluntary Deductions) has been added to Payroll. A nearly unlimited number of earnings codes and the corresponding earning type (fixed or percent of pay) can be set up and maintained for each employee. During payroll data entry or auto pay operations, this table of automatic earnings codes is drawn upon and the appropriate line items are added to the check.
  • Enhanced Quick Print for Picking Sheets – Use Quick Print in Sales Order to print Picking Sheets in addition to Sales Orders. Also includes an option to print a shipping label after the quick print Picking Sheet is printed.
  • Enhanced Customer PO Number Validation – Added functionality to the standard Sales Order option ‘Check for Duplicate Customer PO Numbers' including preventing re-use of a customer PO Number, and telling the user on which document the duplicate was detected.
  • Authorized Purchase Control by Customer or State – Prevents specified customers from purchasing individual items and/or purchasing from specific product lines. OR allows only specified customers to purchase certain items and/or from specific product lines.

Product Update 2 scheduled to be released June 2010 includes:

  • ACH Electronic Payment for Accounts Payable – Have your vendors been requesting that they be paid electronically? Do your employees already receive their pay via direct deposit and want to receive their AP expense checks that same way? This functionality works the same way as Sage Payroll Direct Deposit, but for AP vendors. The files that are generated meet all NACHA (National Automated Clearing House Association) standards.
  • Paperless Office: A/P Checks and Direct Deposit Stubs – Allows you to generate checks and Direct Deposit stubs as PDF documents.
  • Positive Pay Export – Reduce check fraud. This enhancement creates a file with your check information including check number, payee, and amount that you transmit to your bank for them to verify checks they receive against.
  • Bank Reconciliation Import – This will make reconciling your bank accounts much faster and easier. Import a file from your bank into MAS90 and the data is validated against the Bank Reconciliation Transaction file. For records found, the Cleared Bank Flag will be set to Y.
