Offering security guard and investigative services for public and private clients throughout the United States, Tukwila-based Olympic Security has doubled in size every two years since its inception in 1986. With more than 20+ stations and over 700 active employees at any given time, the firm processed large batches of biweekly payroll.
Making the Change
Olympic had been using an aging Navision system and turned to Integrated Computer Systems Support to implement the upgrade for them. This was a very complex situation because of the large version leap and the company’s high volume of historical payroll data. Olympic also had many unique software requirements that were not part of the standard software, particularly geared toward making their payroll process highly efficient to meet the demands of volume and timing.

By customizing Microsoft Dynamics NAV’s standard payroll solution to fit Olympic’s specific needs, ICS Support was able to make it quicker and easier to generate their large volume of payroll. Since their upgrade, the company has worked with ICS Support to continue to include other time-saving enhancements, such as fine-tuning data entry processing and reporting, setting up customized direct deposits for employees and helping them perform day to day tasks more quickly than ever - an important plus for a growing company.
