Act now to enjoy 50% bonus depreciation for software purchased and placed into service in 2008.

It's not too late to take advantage of a special tax savings that is good only for 2008. Simply purchase software and place it into service before the end of this year to be eligible to depreciate an additional 50 percent of the cost of the software. The financial benefits will vary depending on the cost of the product purchased, but the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 does not contain a cap or floor on the amount that can be spent.
