New PCI-DSS Requirements for Handling Credit Cards are Effective July 1
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) impose new requirements for merchants storing, processing, or transmitting credit card data. Your Sage MAS 90 or 200 solution may already be compliant - or if you need a new solution, Sage Payment Solutions is offering a free Credit Card Processing module with enrollment. Learn more.
Windows 7 Compatibility for Sage MAS 90 and 200
If you and your network people have been anxious to upgrade to Windows 7 but uncertain about the effects on your Sage software, your answer has arrived: the compatibility statement for Windows 7 (PDF) has been released by Sage.
With the installation of a downloadable Hot Fix, Windows 7 can be run with Sage MAS 90 and 200 version 4.30.0.18 (all service updates must be installed) and versions 4.40 and 4.40.0.1. All references to Windows 7 refer to Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions and both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are included.
